JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Accounts Manager

Main purpose:

Ensure that the company becomes the number on value-adding supplier of metal parts and functional assemblies to the local market & beyond.

Job objectives:

Client/Business Focus
- Manage client accounts daily.
- Establish budgets with the client & the company.
- Meet agreed time deadlines for client accounts.
- Respond to Request for Quotations (RFQ) within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure that Annual Price Reviews (APR) is submitted on the agreed timeframes.

Growth
- Manage the sourcing of business process.
- Report weekly on the RFQ success rate.
- Evaluate the feasibility of producing a component.

Project
- Interact & coordinate Projects Teams.
- Carry out Project reviews once it has been approved.

Job Specification

Technical skills and specialist knowledge:

Microsoft Excel Skills (Critical)
Knowledge of MS Teams
Driver Licence (EB)

Experience:

Working in a Key Account function (min 3yrs)
CAD & 2D Drawing’s knowledge (min 3yrs)
Commercial documentation in line with IATF standards (min 3yrs)

Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Critical)
Business/Engineering Qualification advantageous
