SUMMARY:
A well-known and established Company requires the above to manage and drive Key Accounts within the Paints, Coatings and Industrial Manufacturing and related industries on a national basis.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A Tertiary Qualification or SAPMA Modules or related is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous sales experience selling chemical raw materials to the Paints and Coatings, Construction, Chemical Manufacturing and related Industrial Industries is essential.
  • Previous experience having sold biocides into the industrial Manufacturing Industry is preferred but not essential.
  • The successful candidate must have strong commercial drive, analytical mindset and good interpersonal skills.
  • The successful candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to compile and delivery presentations and reports.
  • The successful candidate must be computer literate and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining business relationships with Key Customers in the market.
  • Effectively handling all Customer complaints by dealing with relevant resources within the Company.
  • Developing sales plan strategies to achieve growth.
  • Compiling product forecasts from Customers to the Business on a timely and regular basis.
  • Preparing and submitting annual sales budgets.
  • Achieving budgetary objectives for the selected product portfolio.
  • Compiling and submitting reports on sales progress and market trends.
  • Managing Customer pricing to achieve profitability.
  • Implementing product development projects to gain market share.
  • Developing a strategic plan ensuring that Business is not lost with Customers.
  • Strategically identifying new and all lost business per product and Customer and ensuring that all business is regained.
  • Managing stock and forecast volumes according to Customer requirements.
  • Maintaining and growing business Key Accounts as well as develop new Customers.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
