SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of this role: To manage the allocated sales function / customer base in supporting, coordinating and ensuring effective communication with agents and internal sales to ensure sales outputs are achieved.

 

The key responsibilities of this position includes:

  1. Customer visits as per planned schedule
  2. Building and growing relationships
  3. Taking orders, follow-ups, quotes, price queries, price change notifications
  4. Tenders and price increase notifications
  5. Trade shows and launches in the specific area
  6. Competitor information reporting
  7. Ensuring relevant product training to new and existing customers
  8. Sales analysis with customers and planning

 

 

The ideal candidate will meet the following inherent requirements:

 

  • Grade 12 coupled with a relevant SALES Diploma / qualification in the respective field.
  • 5- 10 years KAMS experience in the DIY , or related hardware tooling industry
  • Be a team player and driven
  • Work independently and be a self starter
  • Have outstanding communication skills
  • Have extensive knowledge of customer requirements and product knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of the hardware /FMCG industry and procedures
  • Be committed and customer centric
  • Computer skills – Excel, Word , and other Windows programmes.
