JOB SUMMARY:

An established manufacturer of Animal Health products is seeking the above to implement the business strategic sales and marketing objectives through Customer Relationship Management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Tertiary qualification BSc Agric or a diploma in Agriculture is essential
Must have a minimum of 6 years’ sales experience within the SA Poultry industry
Sound understanding of pricing structures would be advantageous
Must be commercially sound and customer centric for effective customer relationships
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, and Power point) is beneficial

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Strategically establishing and managing a portfolio of customers.
Negotiating prices at senior levels for customers and sending out price adjustment letters as needed.
Promoting the company products and image.
Managing Key Accounts and developing new business
Providing technical presentations for customers on new product launches or when required.
Gaining industry or market knowledge within the relevant Industrial markets.
Collating and submitting of market surveys.
Growing customer base year on year in terms of volume, revenue, and margins.
Interfacing with Operations Division and other related relevant business functions.
Preparing forecasts on a monthly basis.
Managing a complete range of animal health products from purchasing to selling.
Providing general administration of call reports and updating of the CRM database.
Developing knowledge of the poultry Industry business in various industries and markets.
Developing knowledge of SA Poultry market local producers, end users and customers and veterinarians.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
