SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced IT infrastructure professional who thrives on solving complex technical challenges? Our client, a well-established Managed Services Provider (MSP), is looking for a Senior Level 3 IT Engineer to join their technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled engineer who enjoys working across diverse client environments, leading technical initiatives, and delivering enterprise-level infrastructure and cloud solutions.

POSITION INFO:
What You'll Be Doing Provide advanced (Tier 3) technical support across complex client environments. Perform root cause analysis on recurring and critical incidents to implement permanent solutions. Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and hybrid cloud environments. Manage and support virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V. Administer networking technologies including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure. Support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management solutions. Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security-related issues. Lead technical projects including cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, Microsoft 365 deployments, and server migrations. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality technical solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical escalation support where required. Requirements 5+ years' experience in a Tier 3 IT Support or Senior Infrastructure Engineer role within a Managed Services Provider (MSP). Strong experience supporting multiple client environments. Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration. Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID administration skills. Experience with VMware and\/or Hyper-V virtualization. Solid networking knowledge including TCP\/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewall technologies. Experience implementing and supporting backup and disaster recovery solutions. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues independently. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport. Advantageous Experience Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Management. Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Security solutions. Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). PowerShell scripting and automation. Microsoft Exchange Online and SharePoint Online. Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies. Experience with RMM and PSA platforms such as NinjaOne, HaloPSA, ConnectWise, Datto RMM, N-able, or Kaseya.
