LH 17579 - CITRUS PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

My client is looking for an outgoing Afrikaans-speaking Citrus Specialist to work closely with farmers in procuring fruit – mainly Citrus. Must have own reliable car and be willing to travel. And MUST live in Limpopo/ Northern Mpumalanga – you will be servicing the Hoedspruit/ Tzaneen area and further north. Below are some key responsibilities of the position:

• Procurement of Citrus products
• Maintain stringent export requirements of fruit for export
• Technical advisory service to farmers
• Ensure operations and logistic requirements are adhered to and product supplied to meet demand
• Ensure ongoing supply of fruit to the packhouse
• Working knowledge of GlobalGap and HACCP and get these implemented and maintained at Grower level.
