JOB SUMMARY:
Company based in Centurion is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Ensure and Manage integrated supply chain processes regarding Inbound- and Outbound logistics, Warehousing & outsourced courier service
Responsible for managing facility maintenance which includes outsourced providers as well as Security Manage financial aspects of operations i.e. budgeting, expenses, etc.
Compile, maintain and present reports
Ensure effective, efficient and transparent use of the resources of the department
Establish relationships between the organisation, suppliers and other relevant key players
Negotiate and manage optimal SLA’s with suppliers
Provide operational support, advice and solutions
Identify, report and implement appropriate operational risk management strategies
Coordinate and oversee development, implementation and review of operational control systems, policies and procedures
Responsible for company Health and Safety

Requirements:

A relevant post Matric qualification or higher strongly recommended
Experience at Management level
An in-depth knowledge of the operational requirements of a business
Effective communication skills with the emphasis on negotiating, influencing, etc.
Highly developed Critical, analytical and Logic thinking skills
Strong leadership skills including ability to coach, manage and grow people Ability to work independently
Excellent planning, organisational and coordinating skills and professional work approach
Excellent skills on relevant software (Excel)
Ability to agree and achieve deadlines and function in stressful environment Ability to prioritise tasks and deadlines
Flexibility in respect of time and mobility
Valid driver’s license
