SUMMARY:

Stems Fruit is a fruit export company that specializes in the marketing of stone fruit. The following opportunity is available at their offices in Paarl: LOGISTICS PRODUCT CONTROLLER

POSITION INFO:

The incumbent will report to the Technical Manager and be responsible for:
Ã¢Â—Â collecting and analyzing quality reports from overseas clients
Ã¢Â—Â supporting clients in dealing with quality problems
Ã¢Â—Â classifying quality issues according to their financial impact
Ã¢Â—Â capturing data on the Dipar system
Ã¢Â—Â communicating quality reports to Stems producers
Ã¢Â—Â assisting commercial team in checking results of problem product
Ã¢Â—Â reporting shipping claims.

The ideal candidate has a relevant Tertiary qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position. Experience of the Dipar system will be advantageous. Good communication and analytical skills are important.
