LOGISTICS /SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER – FLORIDA / ROODEPOORT – R1M NEG

BCom / BEng / BSc with 5 years+ experience in a Logistics Management position & 2 years+ in Manufacturing & Production. Managing – teams & staff, global suppliers & supply chains, role of logistics components in ERP system implementation, logistics project, solid track record of optimising inventory mix / reducing working capital. Experience in Demand Planning, Production Planning, In/Outbound Logistics, Warehousing & Inventory Control. Define & implement a target operating model for the Logistics operations for SA & the rest of Sub-Saharan Africa. Implement & maintain effective management & inventory management control. Responsible for Organisation & Infrastructure, Supplier & Demand, Inventory, Information & Financial Management. Accountable for Leadership, Cost Management, Service Levels, Inventory Levels, Compliance, Integration & Collaboration. Hands-on person, energetic & ability to deal with complexity & ambiguity, strong leadership & motivational ability, willing to take initiative & solve problems, deadline & quality driven.
