SUMMARY:
Laboratory Manager

POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose:
To lead and oversee the daily operations of the chemical analytical laboratory, ensuring accurate, reliable, and compliant test results for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the chemical laboratory team, ensuring compliance with GLP and GMP standards.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all analytical testing activities.
Ensure calibration, maintenance, and qualification of analytical instruments.
Develop, review, and implement laboratory procedures (SOPs).
Verify and approve analytical results and reports.
Conduct method validation and transfer as required.
Monitor lab performance and ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
Liaise with production, QA, and R&D departments on analytical and quality matters.
Train laboratory staff and ensure continuous skill development.
Manage laboratory inventory and ensure availability of reagents and consumables.

Technical Experience Required:

Must have hands-on experience with:
- HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography)
- UPLC (Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography)
- AA (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy)
- GC (Gas Chromatography)
- FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy)
- Other wet chemistry techniques and analytical instruments.
Experience with troubleshooting and method development using these instruments.
