SUMMARY:
DBN000205 – Lawyer (Commercial Litigation) - PMB/DBN

Main purpose of the job:
To oversee a small team in the daily handling of intricate litigation cases, together with practical expertise in contract preparation and commercial and construction law advice.  
 
Minimum requirements

1. A Minimum of two (2) years of post-article experience in commercial litigation or construction law
2. The capacity to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, a high-stress setting
3. Prior team leadership experience - ideal
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy abilities
5. Prior Smokeball experience - advantageous
6. Australian working hours (5/6am - 13/14pm)

POSITION INFO:
Main duties & Responsibilities

1. Writing letters and counsel
2. Drafting business agreements and contracts;
3. Drafting submissions, applications, and pleadings
4. Drafting affidavits and witness testimonies; and
5. Assisting with advice documents and other litigation as needed.
