SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a Lead Backend developer with extensive experience in a related field along with a high level of education (NQF level of 7 or similar)

POSITION INFO:
Lead the Backend (server side) development
Generate recyclable code libraries and frameworks
Collaborate with the Front-end / UX / UI design and Front-end web developers to expose back-end weaknesses and problems
Implement and maintain ongoing security
Perform routine inspections of the server-side code for speed optimization
Conceptualize and implement data storage solutions
Maintain server stability with near zero downtime
Perform backups
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Develop and manage API resources that are functional across devices
Develop the architecture of a system (and make it logical and functional across devices)
Keep the web applications updated, safe, and fast
Ensure that all work is tested, benchmarked and fulfils functional requirements submitting for approval, review or deployment
Develop a CMS (Content Management System)
