SUMMARY:
Lead Capital Strategy at a Premier Life Insurer. We're seeking a strategic Actuary to head capital and balance sheet management, shaping the financial resilience of a leading life insurer. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence capital strategy, regulatory positioning, and investment direction.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Solvency & Capital Management: Oversee SAM valuations, SCR, risk margin calculations, and dividend strategies.
Investment & ALM Strategy: Drive ALM exercises, asset allocation, and monitor investment performance.
Advanced Modelling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain actuarial models for reserving, forecasting, and planning.
Governance & Assurance: Conduct first line actuarial assurance and lead governance forums.
People Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Actuarial Specialists and Analysts.

Qualifications:

Qualified Actuary (FASSA or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
Strong understanding of SAM and capital management
Experience in iterative risk margin calculations is advantageous
Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
