Lead Regular Reporting Specialist

SUMMARY:
A large entity in the Corporate Finance space is in the market for a Regulatory Reporting Specialist Lead with extensive knowledge and experience in the Corporate Finance Industry.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• CA (SA)
• 5-7 years of experience in this industry

Performance Areas (Responsibilities):  

• Ensure compliance with SARB rules, regulations and directives for Corporate Finance supervision and reporting
• Assist in proactively managing Regulatory reporting requirements
• Monthly “Group” Regulatory Reporting
• Prepare / review all daily, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, and yearly BA returns, and ensure reports are submitted to SARB on time as prescribed in the regulations and as authorised by the various risk type owners including responding to queries from SARB.
• Review monthly analysis and reporting pack in respect of BA returns
• Provide internal sign-off to CFO on Regulatory impact of new deals and products
• Review quarterly Risk and Capital profile for the branch. (ICAAP)
• Attend to all Regulatory audit enquiries / requests (internal & external audit
• Assist Senior Management on all regulatory issues, interpretation, and updates
• Prepare annual Regulatory Capital Forecasts
• Responsible for the management and development of one direct report
