Contract Term: 12 Months - Fixed-Term
Purpose: To perform general cleaning functions of office/administration/kitchen/reception areas of Scenivision facilities and to assist with tasks allocated within the range of competence, thereby contributing to a clean, safe and efficient working environment.

Applicants must be South African citizens with a valid South African ID number.
Applicants must be under the age of 35.
Applicants must be in possession of minimum Grade 10
No work Experience is require.

Required competencies to meet the job outcomes:

Able to maintain an orderly and safe working environment
Basic knowledge of working with electrical equipment, i.e. in the kitchen, vacuum, etc.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and material safety data sheets
Able to communicate effectively with colleagues
Good interpersonal relationship skills
Highly motivated individual with strong self-management skills
Demonstrate good planning and organisational skills
Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
Trustworthiness and maintain confidentiality

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Working conditions are normal for an office
Must be physically fit

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
All duties take place in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant legislation.Â Duties include the following:

Carry out basic cleaning tasks, i.e. vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc.
Ensure that offices, kitchen, bathrooms, stores, furniture, windows, mirrors and passages are cleaned and maintained as per the schedule.
Re-stock dispensers, empty trash and sanitize restrooms and work areas
Check and clean all equipment prior to work being carried out
Ensure cleaning machinery and chemicals are used as per the supplierâs specification and material data sheets kept clean and locked away when not in use.
Prepare and serve refreshments to management and visitors as needed.
Assist other office personnel as and when required
