SUMMARY:
Corporate company based in Randburg requires admitted attorney with commercial experience to join their growing team

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Negotiating and drafting of all forms of commercial agreements
Negotiating and drafting and the implementation of B-BBEE ownership structures
Advising on outsourced labour -related matters, including disciplining employees, hiring and firing, policies, employment contracts, etc.
Assisting and advising companies with legal and corporate governance and compliance
Providing general commercial legal advice
Business development

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

LLB or 4 years Bachelor’s Degree and admitted as an attorney
3+ years post article experience

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Good negotiation skills
Strong business/ commercial acumen
Knowledge of the B-BBEE Codes
Knowledge of the Companies Act
Demonstrate commercial and general litigation legal background
Excellent drafting skills
Ability to be discrete when handling confidential information and exercise good judgement
Computer literacy: Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
