JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

The client is looking for a Legal Advisor who has great drafting skills and interest in compliance. Acts that stand out to this client are the Consumer Protection Act, Matinal Credit Act, and the Protection of public Information act. It is important for the candidate to keep up to date with all updates in the above-mentioned legislation.

Duties:

Communicate and negotiate with clients and establish a clear understanding of their concerns.
Ensure that the company complies with all relevant legislation such as The National Credit Act, Company law, Consumer Protection law, Competition law and Anti-Bribery, corruption law and labor laws.
Provide ad hoc advice when necessary.
Researching and publishing as a form of keeping relevant.
Drafting of agreements.

Qualifications:

LLB
An admitted attorney.

Experience:

5 years’ Post-Qualified Experience in commercial law.
