    R35,000 to R45,000


POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Line Manager: FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
The overall role of the Office Manager is to provide payroll, administrative and operational support

The Office Manager is supported by the Receptionist, the General Office Assistant, the Messenger and the Cleaning Staff and works closely with them to keep the office area neat & tidy and in good order.

Main responsibilities of the job:
HR o assist with the preparation of adverts for candidates or positions to be marketed via social media and other relevant advertising platforms o responses to candidates
- PAYROLL (experience not critical)
o Payroll maintenance and keeping employee records up to date
o 6 monthly SARS submissions
o monthly payroll run / salaries
o monthly payroll taxes and deadlines
o monthly medical aid (discovery) and updates
o provident fund administration
- BBBEE
o SETA
- Annual audit (auditors)
o Payroll & Employee records
o Provident Fund records
o Medical Aid record
o Audit queries

- COMPLIANCE
o Ensure LPC annual membership fees are paid
o Obtain letters of good standing in respect of Attorneys
o Obtain letter of good standing in respect of the company
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
o Complete and submit annual applications 

- OPERATIONS
o General Office management (supported by general office assistant, who reports to the Office Manager)
o Maintaining record of various contracts
o Office Maintenance (supported by Messenger, who is very reliable and hands on in the office)
▪ Liaising with landlord regarding maintenance issues 
▪ Organising contractors for various maintenance issues not related to landlord
o Maintenance of Equipment (supported by Messenger)
▪ Co-ordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment
▪ Ensure fire equipment is serviced annually
o Parking Arrangements
▪ Allocate parking bays to qualifying staff
▪ Arrange for additional parking bays as and when required
o Supplies (supported by Receptionist)
▪ Ordering of office supplies, stationery & inventory
▪ Monitor first aid supplies
o Marketing
▪ Assisting in preparation of advertisements
▪ Ordering of branded supplies
▪ Arrange for website photos for new staff
▪ Assisting in maintenance and updating of website
o Office Functions (supported by General Office Assistant)
▪ Arrange annual staff function, baby showers, etc.
▪ Arrange flowers and gifts on occasion
