Requirements:

Tertiary legal qualification.
Experience in a similar role within financial services will be a strong advantage.
Commercial law experience in negotiating, drafting and vetting commercial agreements Good understanding of statutory and legal requirements and good practice principles, i.e. Banks Act, Companies Act, King III and other legislation pertaining to Financial Services.
Comprehensive understanding of the political and legislative environment.
Experience in providing appropriate legal advice to the business regarding the Group’s rights and obligations under corporate and commercial arrangements and related legal matters.
Management of key stakeholders across the company, internally and externally.
Conducting research into relevant legislation and governance related matters as assigned.
