POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Drive new policy sales and convert prospective opportunities into new business. Service, maintain and regularly review an existing portfolio of approximately 50 clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Attend new-business appointments generated through the inbound call centre. Oversee and work closely with an administrative assistant. Ensure quotations and client servicing requests are effectively managed with the support of the administration function. Job Experience & Skills Required Minimum NQF Level 4 qualification in short-term insurance or a relevant financial qualification, with a minimum of 120 credits. Candidates currently completing the relevant qualification may also be considered, provided they remain within their DOFA date. RE5 is non-negotiable. Personal and Commercial Class of Business requirements apply where the individual was registered as a representative after 2017. Minimum 3 years' Personal and Commercial Lines experience. Working knowledge of FAIS, FICA and POPI legislation. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Sales and client-service orientated. Confident managing both Personal and Commercial Lines clients. Comfortable balancing new business development with the servicing of an existing book. Organised and able to work effectively with administrative support. Knowledgeable about the South African insurance regulatory environment. Apply now!
