POSITION INFO:
Role Overview
NEC XON is looking for a skilled Linux Engineer with strong automation expertise, particularly in Ansible, to support infrastructure operations and automation initiatives within a large enterprise environment. The role focuses on system administration, automation, and operational support of Linux-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Linux server environments (RedHat / CentOS / Ubuntu).
Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible.
Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve Linux infrastructure and application issues.
Support patch management, upgrades, and security compliance.
Work closely with infrastructure and DevOps teams to improve operational efficiency through automation.
Maintain documentation for automation frameworks and system configurations.

Minimum Requirements

5+ years experience as a Linux Systems Engineer or Administrator.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Proven experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python advantageous).
Experience with enterprise infrastructure environments.

Advantageous

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or similar Linux certification.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
Experience with container technologies (Docker / Kubernetes).
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure / hybrid infrastructure).
