POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

LLB & Admitted Attorney
3–5 years’ experience in legal collections / recoveries
Exposure to secured lending litigation (advantageous)
Experience in high-volume litigation environments
2–3 years’ team management experienc
Strong Excel skills (essential)
Manage high-volume litigation from summons to judgment and recovery
Draft and review pleadings, summons, and judgment packs
Oversee vehicle recoveries, voluntary surrenders, and settlements
Monitor performance, trends, and risk within the portfolio
Lead and manage legal secretaries and admin staff
Maintain accurate system and workflow updates (e.g. Cheetah)
Liaise with sheriffs, correspondent attorneys, and clients
Handle queries, escalations, and legal risks
Report on performance and forecasts
Ensure compliance with NCA, Prescription Act, FICA & Debt Collectors Act
Magistrates’ & High Court Rules
Companies Act, CPA & Municipal legislation
Manage billing, reporting, and financial targets
