SUMMARY:
An 5-star luxury lodge portfolio is looking for a LODGE MANAGER to oversee the daily operations of their stunning bush lodge situated in the Greater Kruger Region.

POSITION INFO:
This luxury safari lodge set within a private Big Five reserve, offers an intimate and immersive bush experience with a strong focus on personalised guest service, exceptional attention to detail, and high-end hospitality. The ideal candidate for the position is a hands-on, guest-focused leader with strong operational and team management skills, capable of ensuring seamless day-to-day lodge operations while consistently delivering an elevated and memorable guest experience.

Core Criteria:

Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field
5+ years in a senior management role in a lodge or luxury hospitality setting
Sound knowledge of all lodge departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance, etc.)
Financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control
Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent guest service and communication skills
Computer literate (MS Office, PMS & POS systems)
Familiarity with lodge management systems (e.g. ResRequest, Semper, PANstrat)
Fluent in English (Afrikaans or other local language an advantage)
Valid driver’s license; ability to work flexible shifts and live on-site

Working Conditions:

Lodge-based role with on-site accommodation provided
Required to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Remote area with limited access to town facilities
