SUMMARY:
A luxury venue, accommodation and events property in the Derdepoort area of Pretoria is seeking an experienced and hands-on Lodge Manager to oversee guest services, accommodation operations, housekeeping and day-to-day property management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest experiences and consistently high hospitality standards while leading housekeeping and support teams.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS: - RSA ID and legal residence essential - Valid Driver's Licence essential - Sober habits essential - Minimum 5 years' lodge, guesthouse, hotel or hospitality management experience - Proven experience managing housekeeping and grounds teams - Strong guest relations and communication skills - Well presented and professionally spoken - Hospitality qualification advantageous - Booking system\/property management software experience advantageous - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - Female candidate preferable due to onsite accommodation - Self-motivated and able to work independently - Willing to live on-site and be available for operational requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage guest arrivals, departures and guest relations - Oversee accommodation bookings and reservations - Supervise housekeeping and grounds teams - Conduct daily room and property inspections - Ensure rooms and facilities are guest-ready - Coordinate venue and accommodation preparation for events - Maintain housekeeping stock, amenities and inventories - Maintain luxury hospitality and presentation standards - Assist with kitchen, restaurant and public-area presentation - Manage guest feedback and ensure high guest satisfaction - Drive service standards and operational excellence - Address operational requirements and assist where necessary PACKAGE: - Salary: R15,000 Negotiable (DOE) - Live-in accommodation provided - Shared house with private bedroom - Utilities and Wi-Fi included - Long-term career opportunity within a growing hospitality and events operation LOCATION: Derdepoort - Pretoria, Gauteng START DATE: Immediately
