SUMMARY:
A Big Five private game reserve in the Eastern Cape is seeking an experienced and capable LODGE SENIOR to lead field guiding operations at one of its camps.

POSITION INFO:
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who has run a guiding team before and can take full ownership of a camp's field operation- from fleet and equipment to guest allocations and staff discipline. Core Criteria: Proven experience in a senior guiding or head-guide leadership role within a high-end safari environment All FGASA and related qualifications Strong track record managing and developing a guiding team Sound understanding of vehicle fleet and equipment management Experience coordinating guest activity scheduling and allocations Excellent standards-driven, guest-centric approach Confident handling leave planning and staff discipline Comfortable reporting directly into senior reserve management Core Responsibilities: Lead and manage the camp's field guiding team Oversee the vehicle fleet, guiding kit and equipment Manage leave scheduling and team discipline Coordinate guest activity allocations across the camp Report directly to senior reserve management Support wider lodge operations as required Mentor and develop guiding staff to maintain high standards Uphold an exceptional guest experience at all times
