POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Must be immediately available - Will not wait for Notice
• To manage the logistics function for depots and to assist with administrative functions 

• Minimum education Grade 12.
• Should possess a post-matric diploma in Logistics, Procurement, Distribution, Operations, and/or Supply Chain.
• A certificate or diploma in Quality Customer Service or similar would be advantageous.
• Must possess good organizing, planning, analytical, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Must possess general knowledge of the agricultural chemical industry and knowledge of the products that are supplied within the agricultural chemical industry and their uses.
• Must have strong admin functionality.
• Must be computer literate MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Knowledge of Syspro is a prerequisite.
• Knowledge of .NET would be advantageous.
• Must possess a sound knowledge of all Acts, namely hazardous chemicals, road transportation, etc.
• Must be results orientated and be able to work both independently and within a team environment and be deadline-driven.
• Must be bilingual (English and Afrikaans) due to the nature of the Company’s client base.
• Must possess an attitude that is key to success and must be self-motivated with good judgment skills.
• Knowledge of the various SHEQ Management Systems standards and requirements would be advantageous.
• Must possess the ability to solve problems systematically.
• Must have a professional attitude and appearance.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in Logistics, Distribution, Production, or warehousing environment within the agricultural chemical industry.
• Must have a proven track record for excellent customer service

• To respond to Stock Requests received from Crop Advisors
• Execute efficient and accurate ordering and expediting orders from suppliers.
• Expediting of stock requests and communication with Crop Advisors and depot personnel relevant to stock requests.
• Assist with management of stock levels at Paarl and Crop Advisors warehouses.
• Arrange transport for stock requests and monitor that Crop Advisors obtain the stock on time and in full.
• Follow up on Goods Received Notes from Crop Advisors with direct deliveries and stock transfers (GIT’s).
• Participate in stocktakes.
• Participate in cycle counts for stock in the warehouse.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time correctly in order to complete daily tasks timeously.
• To adhere to all legislation pertaining to the transport of dangerous and/or hazardous chemicals.
• To perform a relief support function for other members of the department.
• To assist the Warehouse Team Leader as and when required.
• Monitor and control stock list for Paarl warehouse.
• Coordinate the movement of products as requested.
• Manage returns of stock with attention to product expiry dates upon depot request.
• Filing, scanning, and emailing paperwork.
• Manage and update records on. NET.
• Assist with the completion of aged purchase orders.    
• To adhere to all internal control policies of the company.
• Uphold and work according to all internal and external safety guidelines.
• Required to conform to relevant SHEQ rules and regulations as per company policy.
• To participate and assist to maintain all SHEQ Management Systems ratings.
