POSITION INFO:

Logistics Coordinator – Johannesburg / Broodsnyersplaas, South Africa OR Mapou, Mauritius (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a detail‑driven Logistics Coordinator to manage the end‑to‑end movement of magnetite from mine‑gate to international destinations. This role is central to keeping our global supply chain running smoothly — from mines and ports to shipping lines and customers.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate mine production, dispatches, and transport (road/rail).

• Manage export documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.

• Oversee international shipping schedules, vessel operations, and rate negotiations.

• Liaise with labs for quality checks and Certificates of Analysis.

• Provide logistics cost data and support finance/treasury processes.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in logistics, freight, or supply chain coordination.

• Strong knowledge of South African export logistics (Durban/Richards Bay).

• Experience in bulk commodities (mining, agriculture, chemicals).

• Familiarity with Incoterms, ocean freight, and export documentation.

• ERP (Sage), Excel, and compliance knowledge (SARS, ITAC).

• Grade 12 essential; Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain an advantage.

• Professional certifications (FIATA, CIPS, SAPICS) are beneficial.
