SUMMARY:
An established and performance-driven organisation is seeking a highly analytical Stock Control & Demand Logistics Manager to take ownership of forecasting accuracy, inventory optimisation, and logistics planning.
This is a critical role focused on improving stock availability, reducing working capital exposure, and strengthening supply chain efficiency.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Develop accurate demand forecasts using sales trends, historical data, and market intelligence
Manage and optimise stock levels across warehouses and distribution channels
Drive replenishment planning and supplier coordination
Monitor stock ageing, slow-moving and obsolete inventory
Conduct a variance analysis between forecast vs actual demand
Align planning activities with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Operations
Support S&OP processes and monthly planning cycles
Ensure optimal safety stock levels and lead time planning
Produce inventory performance reports and KPI dashboards
Identify risks in the supply chain and implement corrective action

Minimum Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
4+ years’ experience in stock control, demand planning, or logistics planning
Strong ERP exposure (SAP / Syspro / Oracle or similar)
Advanced Excel (forecasting models, pivot tables, reporting)
Experience in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution environment
Strong numerical and analytical capability
