Long Term Insurance - New Business Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion within the insurance sector.
The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships, and manage existing partnerships to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.

The role focuses primarily on Long-Term Insurance, with an emphasis on Credit Life Insurance, Group Funeral Cover, and Employer Groups.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance sales and\/or business development. Strong knowledge of insurance products, industry practices, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills. Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop effective growth strategies. Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with clients, brokers, and key stakeholders. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as within a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. Relevant insurance qualifications and regulatory certifications, including RE5 and\/or RE1, will be advantageous.
