SUMMARY:
Requirements:

Degree (B.Sc. Mechanical / Electrical Engineering)
Government Certificate of Competency [GCC] as per the OHSA
Experience: 4 years post-graduation experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferable: 4 years of hydrocarbon or chemical processing plant experience.

POSITION INFO:
Roles and responsibilities:

Appointed as the GMR2.1 in terms of OHSA
Operated machinery processes in optimal state resulting in minimum downtime, cost effectiveness and compliance with legal requirements
Reliability centred maintenance program experience
Employee management, including disciplinary hearings, experience
Report writing abilities
Knowledge of the various inspection’s registers and scheduling of statutory testing
Environmental management system [EMS] experience
Administration. E.g., Filing, purchasing of consumables
