Material Clerk Job Duties

WE ARE SEEKING TO HIRE NEW STAFF ON PERMANENT BASIS

DEATLED JOB BRIEF

Material clerks have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

Performing inventory checks to ensure that stock is not running low on any items
Coordinating with vendors to schedule deliveries of new inventory or pick up of used items
Preparing purchase orders and receiving shipments of new inventory
Inputting data into spreadsheets or other computerized systems to track inventory levels, prices, sales, and other information
Receiving, unpacking, scanning, storing, and distributing incoming goods using barcode scanners and other equipment
Stocking shelves with new inventory items, maintaining organized inventory levels by reordering items as needed
Communicating shipping details to customers when items are shipped out
Making sure that all returned items are accounted for and processed correctly
Maintaining records on inventory levels and other data about each item in stock
