SUMMARY:
MID TO SENIOR FASHION DESIGNER (APPAREL)
SALARY: R30 000 to R40 000 (CTC ) Dependent on experience

National Diploma / Degree in Fashion Designer
Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience as a fashion designer
Must have working experience in using, InDesign and Illustrator for Tech Packs
Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and manufacturing techniques.
Knowledge of fabrications, dyeing techniques, washes, trims, and finishes.
Act as supplier liaison assist with fabric and Trims development
Must have in experience in Ladieswear /Menswear Design
Analysing ,Forecasting , Trend Research and Range Building
Planning for new season concepts and presenting to customers for the seasons ahead
Must be able to travel internationally
Must have knowledge and experience in Product development for Chain Stores
working on various design projects but not limited to ,apparel graphics, overall prints
Assisting with Merchandise and cost management as well as Production.
