MACHINE SHOP ESTIMATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Relevant Qualifications, experience & knowledge required
Qualified Fitter & Turner preferable (qualification OR experience)
N6/ T4/ S4 Mechanical diploma a great advantage
Min 5 years Engineering workshop experience
Fitting industrial gearboxes, bearing assemblies etc...
Industrial Gearbox & Gear manufacturing experience an advantage
Knowledge of types of steel
Knowledge of Heat Treatment processes
Able to read drawings
Cost estimating foe machines components (conventional & CNC)
Client quotes & liaise with customers
Able to discuss technical info with customers
Strong customer relations skills
Highly computer literate
Valid Code 8 Drivers license
Own transport
