Maintenance & Technical Specialist

SUMMARY:
This opportunity is for suitably qualified individuals to support the department to meet its objectives so as to contribute positively to the overall company objectives.

POSITION INFO:

Duties

• Maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on robots, PLCs, motors, hoists, conveyors, and other plant equipment
• Monitoring production equipment condition and make improvements
• Compiling reports on departmental activities and performance
• Ensuring relevant ISO (e.g. 14001, IATF16949 etc.) requirements are met
• Create/maintain maintenance schedules and work procedures/ processes (including preventative maintenance)
• Conduct training on new processes/product introduction
• Participation in corrective, preventive and improvement projects
• Implement kaizen and cost improvement activities
• Participate in quality improvement activities

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum  Education level: Millwright qualification
• At least 5 years work experience (post qualification)
• Experience with PLCs
• Ability to work shifts, overtime, and stand-by as and when required
• Accurate information gathering and analysis
• Awareness of company mission
• Awareness of situations and decisiveness
• Communication and sharing of mid-term plans
• Creation of innovative visions
• Establishing framework and system for organisation review
• Perseverance
• Establishment of objective project results review
