JOB SUMMARY:
One of the leading engineering company within transportation industry is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Engineering Manager with the following skills and experience:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose:

To maintain the Operator’s assets and ensure that safety, quality and performance targets are achieved.
To execute maintenance policies, standards, procedures and ensure reliable and safe equipment.
To ensure seamless travel for our customers that is safe, reliable, comfortable, and friendly.
To supervise and ensure the safe operation of plant and machinery.

Specific Responsibilities:

To develop appropriate safety, quality, and performance standards of the maintenance activities.
To maintain all assets on a planned and emergency basis to a standard of product quality and service as to position the Company as a world-class railway system operator.
To monitor asset condition and propose remedial actions in order to meet the life expectancy of the assets.
To conduct investigations into failures and ensure implementation of recommendations.
To manage team ensuring Specific Measurable Achievable Realistic Time-bound objectives are in place and ensure performances are assessed on regular basis.
Comply with Company policies and promote team spirit.
Fulfil all duties as specified in legal appointment.
Follow-up on technical objectives related to the quality and the efficiency of the maintenance activities.

Experience & Qualifications:

Eng. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering
Added advantage - GCC Certificate for GMR 2.1 Appointment
ECSA Professional Engineer or Technologist
At least 8 years’ relevant experience in maintenance operations with minimum of 4 years’ experience in a railway environment.
