SUMMARY:
Our client in the chemical manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our production operations. The ideal candidate has strong engineering skills, FMCG experience, and a hands-on approach to maintenance and problem-solving.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

- Maintain and execute Preventative Maintenance Schedule
- Service, repair, and install production machinery
- Oversee general building and production line maintenance
- Manage maintenance store, tools, and spares
- Conduct daily checks, line inspections, and attend breakdowns
- Complete weekly machine services and monthly stacker maintenance
- Liaise with contractors when repairs are required
- NQF Level 1–4
- 10+ years FMCG engineering experience
- Engineering Apprenticeship (Trade Test advantageous)
- Fitting and turning, welding, boiler making, plumbing
- Instrumentation, PLC, and electrical repairs (COC-compliant)
