Maintenance Foreman / Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our client in the chemical manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our production operations. The ideal candidate has strong engineering skills, FMCG experience, and a hands-on approach to maintenance and problem-solving.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• • Maintain and execute Preventative Maintenance Schedule
  • Service, repair, and install production machinery
  • Oversee general building and production line maintenance
  • Manage maintenance store, tools, and spares
  • Conduct daily checks, line inspections, and attend breakdowns
  • Complete weekly machine services and monthly stacker maintenance
  • Liaise with contractors when repairs are required
  • NQF Level 1–4
  • 10+ years FMCG engineering experience
  • Engineering Apprenticeship (Trade Test advantageous)
  • Fitting and turning, welding, boiler making, plumbing
  • Instrumentation, PLC, and electrical repairs (COC-compliant)
