An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced and technically demanding manufacturing environment. Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to drive asset reliability, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• A Mechanical or Millwright Red Seal trade qualification
• At least 5 years’ experience in a senior maintenance management role
• A strong understanding of manufacturing operations, maintenance principles, and quality standards
• Demonstrated hands-on experience working with trucks and heavy machinery
• Experience within the explosives manufacturing industry will be highly advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Oversee maintenance scheduling, resource planning, and cost control to meet operational targets
• Ensure full compliance with SHEQ, ISO and Process Safety Management standards
• Drive continuous improvement through lean methodologies and the introduction of new technologies
• Lead and mentor a high-performing maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure quality service delivery
