SUMMARY:
A gorgeous private concession bordering the Addo Elephant National Park is looking for a MAINTENANCE MANAGER

POSITION INFO:
This is a practical, all-rounder role suited to someone who can manage the general upkeep of a remote lodge environment; grounds, buildings, vehicles, and equipment all fall under this portfolio. Core Criteria: Previous experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within lodge or hospitality operations Valid driver's licence and own transport preferred Strong practical and technical skills across general building, plumbing, and electrical maintenance Good planning and organisational ability Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Comfortable operating in a remote, off-grid environment Core Responsibilities: Oversee general maintenance across the lodge and surrounding property Manage and coordinate repairs to buildings, equipment, and vehicles Conduct regular inspections to identify and pre-empt maintenance needs Maintain grounds, pool areas, and general infrastructure Liaise with suppliers and contractors as required Manage maintenance budgets and stock of spares\/tools Ensure health and safety standards are upheld across the property On Offer: Salary: negotiable, depending on experience 6 days on, 2 days off 21 annual leave days Provident fund contribution Live-in position; meals not included
