JOB SUMMARY:
A dynamic company within the FMCG sector has an employment opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, organising, directing, and controlling of all planned and unplanned maintenance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties (Key Areas of Responsibility):

Developing Maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
Allocate workload and supervise staff
Monitor expenses and control budget for maintenance
Ensure Health and safety Policies are complied with
Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities

Minimum Requirements:

Proficient in FMCG / Food processing plant maintenance and upkeep
Knowledge of electrical & pneumatic components
Able to implement and execute a preventative maintenance plan
Compile comprehensive budgets
Able to manage upkeep of our fleet of vehicles to ensure limited downtime
Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in maintenance
Proven experience as maintenance manager
Relevant electrical or technical qualification

Skills and expertise:

Ability to manage a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational abilities
Solid understanding of technical aspects
Experience in planning maintenance operations
Ability to keep track of and report on activity
