Maintenance Manager - GCC

POSITION INFO:

Our client  in the FMCG Manufacturing space in currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team

Minimum Requirement:

• Basic literacy and numeracy                                               
• Grade 12                     
• Trade tested Millwright
• 3 – 5 years FMCG environment in Supervisory role
• Must have 10 years FMCG Food experience
• Must have GCC Factories

 Minimum requirements to perform the role:

Breakdown of Machinery/Equipment Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement

Quality requirements:

• Ensure breakdown presence on the floor to understand the root cause of the downtimes and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure all job cards are completed timeously.
• Implements a structured process for measuring the performance effectiveness of assets
• Initiates and drives continuous improvement of existing machinery/equipment
• Implement and apply asset care management principles to ensure the longevity of machinery life span.
• Health and Safety
• Ensure that all equipment and procedures comply to all Health and Safety rules and standards.
• Ensure the right safety equipment is available and used in a safe and correct manner.
• Accountable for all safety equipment issued.
• Report all safety hazards, accidents, and incidents to relevant parties.
• Ensure that all Safety Guards, and Safety Devices are fitted and working for all equipment in area.
• Identifies areas for personal development and drafts personal development plan with Plant Engineer.
• Implement succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
