POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

A Senior Maintenance Manager with strong drive, perseverance, and excellent interpersonal skills is required to oversee all maintenance-related functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of maintenance activities to ensure optimal production and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant maintenance experience
Mechanical and/or electrical qualification and/or experience is essential
Computer literate (MS Office and Pastel)
Technical knowledge of steelwork, irrigation systems, electronics, mechanisation, and automation will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

Prioritise and successfully complete maintenance projects
Manage and implement preventative maintenance processes
Issue and monitor job cards
Effectively manage, develop, and utilise staff
Oversee maintenance of vehicles and implements
Monitor and control equipment and inventory
Monitor logbooks and fuel consumption
Handle all maintenance-related administration
Develop and annually review standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Develop and annually review maintenance team duty schedules
Manage the maintenance budget
Implement and enforce disciplinary standards
