POSITION INFO:
Renowned for its intimate ambiance, luxurious accommodations, and personalised service, the hotel offers unparalleled views of the rugged coastline and vast Atlantic.

The ideal candidate is someone who is well-versed in hotel/hospitality maintenance, is capable of managing areas of the maintenance plan, and has had experience managing a team. This role is not purely a managing role, as you will need to be hands on with the rest of the team.

Candidate Responsibilities:

Oversee all day-to-day maintenance operations across the lodge
Conduct routine inspections of rooms, villas, and public areas to ensure exceptional standards are upheld
Perform and manage repairs across plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems
Supervise and coordinate external contractors when required
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards at all times
Maintain accurate maintenance records, stock control, and inventory of tools and supplies
Respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to guests
Assist with ongoing improvement projects and upgrades across the property

Core Criteria

Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or senior maintenance role
Strong background in construction
Hands-on experience in both plumbing and electrical work
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently and efficiently
Previous experience in hospitality or luxury property environments is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
Good organisational and time management skills
Reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
Valid driver’s licence

This is a live-out position.
