SUMMARY:
Maintenance Supervisor vacancy in Johannesburg South. Minimum 8 years maintenance experience in a plastics/injection moulding environment, of which at least 3 years in a supervisory or senior technician/team leader role. Matric + Trade Test (Fitter & Turner, Millwright, or Electrician) or relevant Engineering qualification required.

Job Title : Maintenance Supervisor (Injection Moulding)  Geographical area : Johannesburg South, Gauteng              Qualifications & Requirements: Matric + Trade Test (Fitter & Turner, Millwright, or Electrician) or relevant Engineering qualification (NQF L4\/L5 minimum) Minimum 8 years maintenance experience in a plastics \/ injection moulding environment, of which at least 3 years in a supervisory or senior technician \/ team leader role Hands-on maintenance on injection moulding machines 50–450 t (Arburg, Engel, Haitian, Demag or equivalent) – hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Practical knowledge of cold-runner and hot-runner mould maintenance, mould PM procedures, ejector systems, slides, lifters, and gate maintenance; cavity polishing and repair Computer literate – maintenance records, PPM scheduling, spare parts requisitions; proficient in MS Office (Excel for KPI and downtime tracking) Valid Code 08 driver’s licence; forklift \/ overhead crane licence Responsibilities: PPM schedule compliance Machine availability Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) – IM machines Repeat breakdown rate (same fault within 30 days) Mould PM compliance Spare parts availability (critical components) SYSPRO maintenance records completeness Safety incidents (LTI \/ near-miss reporting) LOTO compliance (audit findings) Please apply via our website: Should we not contact you within 14 days, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
