SUMMARY:
Our client in the recycling industry, has an opportunity available for a Maintenance Supervisor, to be based in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Qualified artisan- minimum N5
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
GCC will be an added advantage
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Plastics Manufacturing
Relevant Technical Knowledge especially in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
Computer Literacy: Ms Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Knowledge of production procedures

KPAs:

Provide leadership to maintenance personnel on correct maintenance procedures and methods to ensure effective maintenance in operation
Manage Preventative Maintenance program to ensure effective execution
Manage engineering spares from ordering to stocking in most efficient manner
Design and improve processes to increase plant production efficiency and quality
Ensure that plant operations meet environmental and safety protocols in a cost-effective manner, stand as GMR 2 for the plant to ensure OSHACT compliance
Coordinate resource allocation of Artisans on maintenance and breakdowns
Ensure spares availability and lead the development of team goals
Performance targets and shift budget with due reference to packaging plans and budgets
