Qualifications / Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related)
Minimum of 7 years of maintenance/engineering experience within a Manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of quality systems and health, safety & environment skills
Computer knowledge and skills
Innovation and change management skills
Strong people management skills, interpersonal and communication

Key Performance Areas:

Direct the manufacturing engineers/ process specialists, in defining technical specifications for new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities
Direct and coordinate both repair and preventative maintenance requirements for all equipment
Support continuous improvement efforts
Support the development of target material and information flow analysis and plant layout
Develop capital budget requirements according to standard
Liaise with external stake holders and service providers by defining and monitoring quality, cost and delivery objectives
Direct the management of spare parts and consumables warehouses
Recommend safety policies and assure safety/legal controls are tested and reliable
Be responsible for the computer aided maintenance management system
Ensure the continuous development and coaching of maintenance & manufacturing engineering team
Direct plant manufacturing engineering standard applications
