SUMMARY:
Are you a meticulous and results-driven Cost and Management Accountant with a passion for efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insights? We're looking for you !

A leading JSE-listed manufacturer with operations across Africa and a strong presence in global market based in Pretoria West is expanding their in Pretoria team, they are looking for a Cost and Management Accountant to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Take ownership of the manufacture order process, driving material and labour costing from initiation to execution
Oversee Work-in-Progress (WIP) management, ensuring seamless ERP transaction flow, physical movement, and stock accuracy
Lead and improve perpetual stock count processes across warehouse environments
Conduct Quoted vs Actual Cost analyses and monitor gross profit margins for ongoing improvements
Manage the Finished Goods Contingency Warehouse to maintain optimal stock levels
Drive final project costing reviews, ensuring project profitability and reporting accuracy
Act as a key liaison between Finance and Operations, streamlining processes and resolving queries effectively
Recommend and implement cost-saving strategies and operational efficiencies
Support statutory submissions, including calculations and reconciliations
Finalise monthly reconciliations in coordination with the finance team
Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation and resolving issues
Take ownership of various ad-hoc financial projects and functions

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Cost Accounting / Management Accounting / Finance
Minimum 3 - 5 years' relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Strong SAP experience
