SUMMARY:
Are you a sharp, analytical finance professional with a passion for numbers and manufacturing? A leading and established steel manufacturing company in City Deep is looking for a Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This is a hands-on, business-critical role where your financial insights will directly impact profitability and efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
ð Management Accountant
ð City Deep, Johannesburg
ð Steel Manufacturing Industry
ð° R 480 000 – R 540 000 CTC per annum (depending on experience)

ð§ Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full management accounting function
Prepare monthly management reports, budgets, and forecasts
Analyse production costs, margins, and variances to support operational decisions
Monitor and report on inventory, raw material usage, and WIP
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for CAPEX projects and operational improvements
Assist with strategic planning, modelling, and financial risk assessments
Support the finance team in audits, compliance, and reporting

ð¯ Requirements:

BCom in Accounting / Management Accounting (CIMA or similar qualification advantageous)
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a manufacturing or steel industry environment
Solid knowledge of costing, management accounting, and financial analysis
Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (Sage, Syspro or similar)
Strong understanding of inventory control, BOMs, and factory reporting
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
