Our client, a leading and well-established manufacturing organisation, is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with operational leaders, driving financial performance, and influencing business decisions through accurate reporting and analysis. This role offers exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you'll play a key role in supporting divisional performance through management reporting, cost analysis, financial planning, and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with operational managers, providing the financial insights needed to drive efficiency and informed decision-making. This is more than a traditional management accounting role. Duties: Prepare, capture, and process month-end revenue and cost transactions. Produce accurate monthly management accounts and divisional income statements. Compile and deliver executive reporting packs. Prepare monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances. Analyse operational performance and identify cost-saving opportunities. Partner with divisional managers by providing meaningful financial insights. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual target-setting processes. Prepare and present financial reports to management. Support continuous process improvements across the finance function. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting and BCom Honours CIMA Qualified Experience: Minimum 5 years' Management Accounting experience Strong costing and management accounting knowledge Financial reporting and reconciliations experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and presentation skills Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office JDE experience advantageous Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle Skills & Competencies: Management Accounting & Financial Reporting Cost Accounting & Financial Analysis Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Planning Account Reconciliations & Cost Optimisation Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering Communication, Presentation & Influencing Skills Planning, Organisation & Attention to Detail If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
