Management Accountant

Working closely with the Financial Manager, you'll gain exposure across the full finance function, from financial reporting and cost accounting to month-end processes and business analysis. POSITION INFO:
Financial Accounting & Reporting Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare journals, reconciliations and general ledger entries Support the preparation of management accounts and financial statements Produce financial reports including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reports Accounts Payable & Receivable Process supplier invoices, purchase orders and payments Reconcile customer and supplier accounts Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions Cost Accounting Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs, including materials, labour and overheads Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cost estimates Support cost-saving initiatives through financial analysis Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Finance Support Capture and maintain financial data within the accounting system Assist with ad hoc finance projects and reporting requirements Collaborate with various departments to support business objectives What we're looking for We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, analytical by nature and passionate about building a successful career in finance. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related qualification 0-2 years' accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment Solid understanding of accounting principles Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with SAP will be highly advantageous Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Why apply?
